Electrical Safety Management Systems
AUDIT
Audits are conducted for Mine sites in accordance with the Department of Minerals & Petroleum Resources Electrical Safety Management Systems Audit Criteria for which Power Supply Services & Training has approval to conduct. The Audit is accepted as being done independently and has been conducted for large and small mining companies throughout the state. Validation by the DMPR has verified the authenticity.
Audits on all other types of installations are conducted using Audit criteria developed by Power Supply Services & Training and cover all aspects of Electrical Safety Systems and Procedures required to be in place to meet State Legislation, Regulations and Australian Standards.
INSPECTION
Site inspections can be carried out to identify condition of plant equipment and assets. The inspection criteria developed by Power Supply Services & Training covers all aspects of an electrical installation including electrical Safety Management Systems, compliance with State Legislation & Regulations, Australian Standards, Company Standards and Specifications.
PROCEDURES DEVELOPMENT
Development of procedures for High Voltage Switching, Low Voltage Isolation, Isolation and Tagging, Testing, Live Work, Power line Corridor Emergency Response, New Installations, Project Handover and a number of others in addition to customised procedures on request.
Company Electrical Management Policies, Standards and Specifications can be developed and customised to individual company requirements
